Summary
After learning the truth about why he was born, Buck makes the most deliberate choice of his life: he applies to Asterbridge House, a private matchmaking service he’s been saving for since he was eighteen, because more than anything, he wants a spouse, children, and a home that lasts.
He does not expect to be matched with Tommy Kinard.
Tommy is older, steadier, richer, and far better at seeing through Buck than Buck is ready for. He listens carefully, kisses gently, and makes room for Buck exactly as he is, which would be easier to enjoy if Buck’s family didn’t think he was making a mistake. It would be easier still if Maddie wasn’t trying to fix his life for him, or if wanting something for himself didn’t feel so much like betraying everyone else’s expectations.
Somewhere between first dates, family betrayals, crossed lines, and one very bad fire, Buck has to figure out whether he can stop asking permission to want the life he actually wants — and whether Tommy might be a place to land.

Summary
Mike is the new principal dancer at the NYC Ballet, the rising star in the tough, even brutal yet glittering, glamorous world of classical dance. Harvey is, well, Harvey - lawyer extraordinaire, the best closer this city has ever seen etc.
Harvey gets dragged to the annual NYCB Gala by Louis because, years ago, Louis has already talked Harvey into becoming a sponsor for the noble cause of ballet. Until the night this story starts, Harvey has seen his regular donations as a clever and easy tax write-off and has never been an aficionado in any way, much to Louis’ chagrin. As soon as Mike enters the stage, though, that changes, and as soon as Mike steps into the Gala’s venue after the show as the celebrated guest of honor of the evening, everything else changes, too. Harvey takes Mike home with him for the night, and they’re inseparable from that moment on – or they would be if their lifestyles weren’t so different and if those two idiots falling in love weren’t so incredibly stubborn (and sometimes in denial as well).- Language:
