    Itadori Yuji, un joven de veinticuatro años, se ve envuelto en el rescate de dos moribundas crías de perro que fueron abandonadas a su suerte en los angostos callejones de Tokio, Japón, donde una torrencial lluvia azota la acera. Con la esperanza de salvar a los dos cachorros en un estado tan crítico de salud, temblorosos por el inclemente viento que sopla y empapados debido al llanto del cielo grisáceo, se encuentra aquel lugar donde un joven cuyos ojos verdes enmarcados por espesas pestañas rizadas, le auxilia.
