This episode is one of my favorites, at least the first 20 minutes. In the beginning, you see Lt. Uhura use her analytical mathematical skills as she works alongside Spock in solving the Nomad code. She did it! She identified the old interstellar space code before Spock did. Here is my version of the Changeling with a twist and drama.

It is the year 2268: Ltd. Maybe this assumption would never be disputed if it was not for two startling events that upend their relationship and for the unstable wormhole that strands them at the other end of the galaxy, more than a hundred years into their future. Although the odds are practically nil, they are picked up by no other vessel than the USS Voyager, where they find shelter, friendships with the crew and a new, profound connection to each other. Still, they face the challenge of getting back to their own time and starship, and the question of whether they will be allowed to remember their experiences on Voyager and what they have learned about the future. Moreover, how could Spock ever learn to fully - and safely - embrace his Human side?
