   Summary

   In the year 114 AC, tragedy struck as Queen Alicent Hightower succumbed to the throes of childbirth whilst she brought forth her third son, Prince Daeron.

   Wracked with grief and guilt from losing his second wife to the birthing bed, King Viserys Targaryen implores his daughter and heir, Rhaenyra, to raise her siblings alongside her own children.
