    Summary

Astrid pulled her hand out of her satchel—but something else came out too, something small and drab, something very much like the sachet in her hand—another herb packet, this one secured with a different colored twine, red in contrast to the green on the one intended for Valka. As Astrid extended her hand towards Valka, it fell, tumbling towards the floor almost as if in slow motion.
Valka reached for it almost instinctively.
"Let me—" she started, just as Astrid, eyes going wide, exclaimed:
    "No, I got it, I—"
But it was too late—Valka caught it midair, and as her fingers tightened around the small bag, slightly crushing the herbs inside, their scent released, the hauntingly familiar aroma hitting her like a slap on the face. Valka froze, then lifted the pouch to her nose and inhaled deeply, just to be sure.
    Tansy, rue, pennyroyal.
She looked at Astrid, straight into the young girl's panicked gaze, flitting between Valka's face and the sachet of herbs in her hand. She knew that Valka knew.
    Herbs to purge the womb.

    Summary

    - I saw Stoick last week.
Camicazi might not have been the best person to read someone’s behavior, but she noticed how Hiccup’s body stiffened.
    - Really?
    - Yes. I went with my mother to Berk. Something about a trade agreement over something.
    - Over something? What a fine heir. – he said mocking her.
As if -he-, who had run away from Berk, had any kind of moral ground to comment on her behavior as an heir.
    - Stoick is pretty desperate.
He turned to her, a confused look stamped on his face.
    - My father desperate? Stoick?
    - Yes. Stoick. Berk is in Drago’s sights.

    ---

Hiccup never wanted the chieftainship and always had a thirst for knowledge. Toothless gave him wings to achieve everything he had always wanted. When he fled Berk, he never imagined he would end up involved in a war of hunters, and that this war would bring him back to Berk more than five years later.

Not as Hiccup, but as the living legend of the Dragon Master, the one responsible for putting an end to the attacks on the islands of the archipelago.
