Summary
Unable to deal with the nightmares plaguing her after nearly fusing with Justice, Elphelt decides that her only solution is to run from her demons and chase happiness the only way she knows how: finding “true love.” Her decision to leave the castle leads Elphelt into a serendipitous encounter with the tuner herself. As one could assume, Elphelt attempts to make Haehyun her “husband.” As one could also assume, this does not go well.
And yet, life has a funny way of giving both Elphelt and Haehyun exactly what they need, and in more than one way. But life can never be that simple, can it?

“Yeah,” says Maya. “I noticed that.”
Maya feels the cogs in her brain freewheeling with nothing to catch onto, her head still half in the dream, because for all she knows she’s still dreaming. How else does it make sense that Franziska is even here, right now?

Those families the law couldn't help.
She still sought to put an identity to the name 'Hegemon Killer', wanted to know what sort of face hid under the veneer of shadow she saw at each of the crime scenes. She wanted to see the hands that crafted such beautiful carnage. Consistently she said she was here to catch them, consistently she said her curiosity was second to her desire to put this person behind bars.
