Summary
Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington are both working for a top-secret government agency where they track down and kill cryptids and other unholy creatures roaming around the US. Do they know what the government does with the bodies they bring back? No. Do they know where the creatures they are constantly shooting come from? Also no. But is that one humanoid cryptid girl with antlers lowkey kind of hot? Yes, and Nancy might just do something about it.

Summary
“Heyy, Buckley-Harrington residence, Robin speaking, how could I be of assistance on this fine Friday evening?”
“Um, hi, this is Nancy Wheeler, is Steve there?”
“Oh, uh, I’ll tell him to come over here.”
Holy shit, who the hell is Nancy Wheeler and why does she sound so hot?? Her voice is kind of bitchy and self-actualized but in a way that feels less pretentious and more like she deserves to have arrogance because she’s actually smart.
“Steve!” Robin whisper-screamed, holding the phone away from her face. “Who is Nancy?”
She watched the color drain from Steve’s face. “Oh fuck, that’s my ex, why is she calling?” -

Summary
Steve won’t ever be kept and cared for in the way he craves. He won’t ever be held like he’s something small and precious and breakable. He won’t ever be treated softly by virtue of his designation.
He won’t ever have kids in the way that he so desperately wants to.
He won’t ever be an omega.
And if he stays a beta, he can’t be Eddie’s true mate, either. He can’t be his mate at all: the bite won’t stick. The scar won’t manifest and neither will the bond. Their body chemistry won’t allow it. Any attempt at a claim will slide off of his skin like droplets of water and heal right up.
Genetically and physiologically incompatible.
𓆩⟡𓆪
In a world where alpha and omega presentations are triggered by the stress of traumatic events, Eddie Munson presents as an alpha the minute he’s dragged out of the Upside Down and into Hawkins Memorial Hospital.
Steve Harrington has been a beta his whole life.

They’re getting a new salesman at the Piltover branch of HexTech Incorporated. It’s probably the most exciting thing that has happened all year.
Viktor honestly couldn't care less.

Summary
There’s this guy in Steve’s third period English class who won’t stop staring at him, and at first he thinks that he’s trying to pick a fight.
“That’s just Eddie Munson,” Carol informs him while picking delicately at her own cuticles. “He’s not trying to fight you, Steve. He’s just a creep. The best thing you can do is ignore him.”
Steve doesn’t know about all of that, but he supposes Carol’s right about one thing: Eddie Munson is not trying to fight Steve. He just stares a lot. And he doesn’t even look away when Steve catches him and they lock eyes. He just burrows further into his arms and raises a thin, pierced eyebrow.
It's the end of senior year and Eddie Munson won't stop staring. Robin Buckley does not get paid enough to deal with this shit. Steve Harrington plays board games with middle schoolers. He is also apparently in a long-term relationship with both of his best friends; he does not know this.

Summary
“Wayne, I… I’m not proud to admit this, but I’ve been a bit of a mess since Lizzie passed away. Haven’t been the kind of daddy Amy needs. A daddy for her to be proud of. This job? This job’s the one time I can make this right. I really wouldn’t be asking you if it weren’t important. I promise you’ll barely notice she’s there, then I’ll have her out of what’s left o’ your hair before you know it. Please? Wayne. You’re the best person I know.”
Wayne sighs. Obviously, he was always going to say yes, but the thought of being the best person Al knows is soothing nonetheless. “Alright. She can stay.”
“Great! Come pick her up on Friday.”
“Friday? Al. Today’s Wednes—” Al hangs up before Wayne can finish his sentence. Wayne looks around his trailer in abject terror. It’s Wednesday evening. He’s going to have to spend all of tomorrow driving if he’s gonna pick up Amy by Friday, and the house is definitely not ready for a little girl. There’s dishes in the sink. Shit. Shit. Shit!
---
Or, Wayne finds out that his niece is actually his nephew through the power of family beach trips
