    Jeremy’s eyes darted to the man's name tag. On it, the name Mike was written in bold black letters.

    Jeremy offered a crooked smile, “Mike? Mike what?”

    Finally, Mike reacted, letting out an exaggerated sigh, “It doesn’t matter.”

    “Oh.” Jeremy said, staying silent for a few more seconds, before speaking “Well, my name is Jeremy. Jeremy Fitzgerald!”

    The beachside pool was a mess due to the storm last night and the giant wave from the ocean that poured into it leaving behind clumps of seaweed and tiny fish swimming within. Jeremy is given the task of cleaning it. What he was not expecting to find was a mermaid. Seems like something else got washed in with the storm last night.

    Lightly based on Aquamarine for the first part but otherwise just on my mix of mermaid knowledge.
