Upon the glowing structure's dais stood a Hylian teenager who Legend was absolutely positive had not been there moments before. White-blue strands of what he could only assume was magic floated about the boy. They cascaded down from the ceiling, circling him, seeming to melt into his body as his form gained transparency.
Even from where he stood, Legend could feel the same strange magical aura about the boy and slate that he had felt from the very structure both stood upon. That same mixture of unknown yet known magic alongside something distinctly… Artificial. A magic that this seemingly simple Hylian used effortlessly; that he was infused with.

Summary
Link hasn’t got a lot left to him considering the state of his fragmented memory, but he does know a few things for certain at the moment.
1. The Ja’Abu Ridge hinox is mysteriously absent from its usual location.
2. The eight travelers distracted him enough that he broke his ankle fighting a regular lynel of all things.
3. They’re looking for the hero.
4. In his opinion, they can kindly mind their own business, and if they refuse, he can always have Zelda tell them. Tell them that the hero died a full century ago. Perhaps then they’ll leave him alone.

It was the first time he remembered crying as well. Already, since learning that he filled the body of someone he did not remember, he knew he was an imposter. Seeing her form made him feel nothing and everything all at once and it overwhelmed him greatly. He’d dragged himself to the riverbank, and with his legs still submerged in the cool waters, sobbed desperately.

“Are you even trying, Kent?” Damian asked, securing the incapacitated Super, weakened by the setup of Red Sun lamps here in the Batcave that they have been using to train Jon without his powers.
“Of course I am trying!” Jon defended, glad his face was flush from their bouts and it wasn’t easy to tell that there could be other reasons he was getting red in the face. “I’ve been trying this whole time!”
“You truly are weak as just a human.” Damian hummed and quickly grabbed and pinned down Jon’s hands when the boy moved to try to push Damian off.
All Damian’s idea, of course, not because Jon wanted to have Damian hold his hands, not at all.

They were trying to train Jon in the event he lost his powers and his hormones decided it was far more enjoyable to get pinned down over and over again by his attractive best friend than to actually do the training properly. Puberty was hell but in moments like this, Jon was in heaven.Series
