With one hand still cupping Aventurine’s face, he pried his chin up, denying him escape from this confrontation. Ratio stared at him, gazes mirroring each other with equal determination. But they were different: a shapeless plea in his own; a heart-wrenching chaos in the Avgin’s stunningly beautiful eyes.
“And all I found was fear.”
“Some things need to be done,” the blonde stated.
“But not this one.”
Right before their meeting with Sunday, Ratio senses Aventurine's fears. Aware of the Avgin's intentions, he wishes to make him change his mind. Whether he succeeds, depends only on his trust towards the other.

These hands are gentle, kind, loving. They caress his skin with purest adoration. And they’re scarred and blemished, just like his.
“It sounds like torture.”
Blade shrugged. “For one person, maybe.”
“I don’t want others to know. Even if there’s nothing to worry about, it’d be better this way.”
“What about me?”
“You?” Dan Heng checked, irony dancing on his tongue. “Helping me?”
“Why not? Since you’ve already shared your burdens with me, I am a part of it.”
The Nameless accept Blade on board throughout their journey to Penacony. Of course, Dan Heng isn't too thrilled about the idea, and on top of this predicament, he started experiencing some bizarre dreams. Since they involve not only his but also Blade's previous identity, he's forced to ask the Hunter for help.
And thus begins a tale written in another life.

The author knows how to write some good robot nasties, very creative and believable at the same time.
They both seem very canon in the way they act and how their relationship looks like, plus their talks and fights sound so natural.
A very pleasant read.
And surprisingly hot.

“I did not expect to see you work as the Starshyna’s messenger boy,” Varka said with a relaxed, almost all-knowing smile. “What happened to Illuga?”
“Nothing,” Flins said. “The Starshyna believes you might try to steal him away from the Ratniki. It is more appropriate if I come instead.”
Varka had to find something funny in Flins’s half-truth, laughing first and then tapping his chin pensively. “Is he not afraid of me trying to steal you away? I’ll say, it seems like his judgment isn’t as sharp as he’d want it to be.”
Varka was a very touch-oriented person. Always clapping shoulders, patting backs, or holding onto his friends’ arms when he laughed too hard. Flins wanted to feel that for himself.
But when he had it, it felt shallow. He missed the lingering touches, their feet playing under the table, their hands gravitating towards one another. He wanted Varka to hold him and never let go.
It was a lot to ask because Varka did not belong to the graveyard or to Nod-Krai. He belonged to his family back in Mondstadt, whom he had never spoken to Flins about.
Because for the first time, it was Flins who was temporary—not the other way around.
