Summary
For whatever reason, suddenly Lance was taken aback, thinking to when he first met Keith. The Keith he knew back in high school was closed off and reserved and Lance would have never thought that in seven years he'd be the one to crack the stoic outer shell of Keith Kogane’s abandonment issues and insecurities to the point of spoon feeding him after a long, exhausting day at work.
Past him would have an aneurysm.

Summary
Shiro laughs, and ruffles his hair. "It's your birthday, kiddo. We wouldn't miss it for the world."
"For the universe," Allura corrects with a smile, and it's mostly joking, and kind of corny but also so fitting, and it makes the remaining tears in Keith's eyes fall unapologetically.
Lance squeezes his hand and Krolia's hand tightens on his shoulder, and Hunk moves away and then returns again with the cake in his hands, a single candle sitting aflame in its center. Everyone shifts just enough to make room, unwilling to let him go completely.
"Make a wish," Krolia says softly.

Summary
Keith keeps his back to Lance as he takes a deep breath before diving into the reason he came here. “Ever since I came out of the pod, my entire body has been aching, but Coran said I’m perfectly healthy, that it must be residual phantom effects. But when you touched my shoulder earlier, the pain started to vanish. Just like it did back in the prison.” Keith finally turns around, eyes shadowed and arms crossed against his chest. “What I’m trying to say is—”
“That I have magic fingers.”
His head snaps up. The corner of his mouth pinches in the way Lance loves. “I swear to god if you make one more innuendo out of this thing, I’m going to kill you.”
Lance tilts his head down, a smirk on his face. “That’s a little kinky, Mullet.”
