Most alphas find that their ruts become more manageable when they enter into a relationship with an omega who could be a suitable mate. Most, but not all.
Studies have shown that a small percentage of alphas, when placed in a similar scenario, experience the opposite.
Narumi doesn’t care about these theories. All he knows is that, with his alpha pheromone levels within the top two percent of the country, this rut is going to suck if he spends it alone.
Look. It’s not his fault that he was born with such otherwise excellent genes.
Or: When Narumi goes into rut, he starts to question the nature of his relationship with Hoshina. He would like to blame his hormones.
