Has forgotten about his presence immediately after, so she doesn’t know why she’s surprised at all, when Arsenal drops the photos in the evening with the usual pre-game article, and she finds one of herself just staring at Alessia, with what can only be described as a lovesick expression. They are photographed from the side, Alessia with the ball at her feet, looking down, and Leah, well, looking at Alessia, with eyes crinkled in a smile, soft. Softer than she’s ever seen herself.
