“I was wondering…” Xiao said quietly, looking at the string around his finger , “What is a soulmate? I have heard it mentioned before, but I do not fully understand.”
The pair sat on a hilltop, looking out over the sprawling plains and enjoying the warm breeze off the sea.
“Ah, as it sounds, a soulmate is the mate of your soul. Two beings who complete each other and are irrevocably tied to one another.” Morax looked off into the sky with soft eyes. “Those lucky enough to have one will have a thin red thread tied on their left hand, which will connect to the other half.”
Xiao looked at him skeptically.
Xiao was not always called 'Xiao', he was not always so content with his duties, but he has always had the red thread tied around his finger leading to someone who will love him more than he could ever imagine. He just has to survive long enough to find them.

When Lumine bails on a blind date with a notorious intellectual, she ropes Kaveh into covering for her — complete with a borrowed dress, fake lashes, and a dubious feminine accent. The plan falls apart almost immediately when the date turns out to be none other than Alhaitham, Kaveh's own insufferable housemate, who sees through the disguise in minutes and finds the whole thing far too amusing.

Summary
The Yaksha was not built to be gentle. His hands were made to wield a weapon; he was raised and trained to fight and defeat, to not flinch at the sight of blood staining his clothes. He was a warrior, tainted by his kamic debt and cursed to always kill, to eventually go mad. His body was not accustomed to being gentle.
But Aether never saw him as any of this. The traveller saw him as he was, a warrior who went through hell and crawled his way out, an adeptus who battles his own demons every day, along with following his duty as Liyue’s last remaining yaksha. This is why Xiao finds it easy to try and be gentle, to try and use his hands for more than violence.

Kaveh just got offered 6 figures to build a huge business building in Sweden. He decided to go stay there during the duration of the process, just to get a better feel for it (and a free vacation!). Only issue is that he hates airports, airplanes, and anything to do with air travel. It's true he could've taken a boat but 4 days of sea sickness compared to 13 hours in a cramped flight cabin? He'll take the latter. Everything starts going downhill when somebody makes Kaveh spill his coffee on himself, and the two get into a heated argument. When Kaveh boards the plane to find out he's sat next to the coffee spill man, let's just say he's less than delighted.
OR
Alhaitham spills coffee on Kaveh and they have to sit next to each other for 13 hours in a cramped space, Kaveh's pissed. (They kiss)

Summary
Alhaitham has apparently decided to go about seducing Kaveh in the stupidest manner possible. And yet, that absurdity pales in comparison to Kaveh’s own stupidity—because somehow, against all reason, his roommate’s idiotic attempts to seduce him are working.
Kaveh turns to glare at Alhaitham, and Alhaitham stares back at him levelly—which only makes indignation boil hotter in Kaveh’s gut, even as his eyes drift to Alhaitham’s infuriating lips and start replaying that memory from this morning.
He knows what he saw. He’d watched as Alhaitham rounded his lips, took that banana far into his throat, and slowly dragged his mouth up the length, flicking his tongue at the tip. He’d seen Alhaitham start to repeat the motion, pausing with his eyes locked onto Kaveh’s—and then, with a half-lidded stare, he’d casually taken a bite and walked out of the room, brushing against Kaveh as he left.
Kaveh had been completely awake. And whatever the fuck Alhaitham was doing, it had been completely intentional.

“That sounds much better than ‘Traveler.’”
Aether laughed, and Xiao’s lips twitched upwards into what was almost a smile.
“I think so, too,” Aether chuckled. “Don’t tell anyone, okay?”
aka Xiao is the prince of Liyue, and a certain traveler never fails to make him smile, but an enemy decides to use that to their advantage.

An advent calendar in which the Traveler invites all the people they've met into their teapot for one big celebration.
Each day is a new chapter focusing on a new combination of characters. They all take place on the same day, though, so they are connected.
Also, there's like close to nothing religious about this, so you can still read this as just a normal fic. The explanation in the fic is that the Traveler just picked a random holiday from some random other planet as their occasion and they just so happened to choose Christmas, that's it.
