Summary
The plan was simple: Get back into Dev’s life under the guise of a babysitter. Easy! Unfortunately Peri’s has made a massive miscalculation.
- OR
Peri gets stuck in a selkie situation with Dale. Dale holds his wand hostage while mutual destruction looms over both of their heads if the situation gets out to anybody; Dale under threat of a memory wipe or worse if he exposes fairies to the world, and Peri under threat of punishment from Jorgen, and possibly an eternity in fairy prison. But with his wand in Dale's hand Peri is on a timer not to succumb to Magical backup.

Summary
Dev doesn't have many thoughts about being a clone. Other kids are born in a different, less cool and less expensive way, but he’s known for about as long as he can remember. It's just as regular as anything else to him.
Hazel didn't even think cloning was real before she met Dev, so it's natural she has a lot of questions. Unfortunately her questions end up pushing Dev into a kind of spiral.

Something in him bristles and he’s not entirely sure what or why. “I’m not a mutant, Hazel.” He snaps.
“Are you sure?”
She doesn't mean anything by it. She’s just curious, excited, but something about the question twists in his stomach. Is he sure? Of course. Why wouldn't he be sure?
