Summary
In Seoul, a serial killer nicknamed "Sujipjja" or "Amasser" removes livers and hearts and replaces them with flowers. His modus operandi is well known to the police. They know he returns in waves. They know years pass between his murders. They know he's very hard to catch.
What the police don't know: why he takes the liver and heart. Why he kills. Why these specific people. What the victims have in common. Why he goes quiet and returns years later.
Inho thought he had one goal. One reason to wake up. One thread keeping him alive. Inho barely looks like a living person. He arrives first, leaves last. He doesn't notice how much coffee he's drunk. Doesn't notice he forgot to eat. Doesn't notice his younger brother's stare — as if Inho is already lost.
When his superiors assign a criminal psychologist to the department, Inho is ready to ignore him like food and sleep. Song Gihun can follow him, ask stupid questions, build theories — Inho will survive. He's survived worse.
The problem: Gihun doesn't ask questions. He watches. And he sees what Inho has been carefully hiding.
Meanwhile, a new body is found in the city. With the liver and heart neatly removed.
