The sound led him to a warehouse with a hole in the roof. Below it was the impact crater from what was likely a human form; having made more than a few of them himself, Clark felt confident in that assessment.
As he descended into the building his eyes were drawn to a small figure huddled under a familiar leather jacket.
“Oh, no,” Clark breathed as he drifted closer.
Clark hasn't know his clone very long. If he's being honest Clark doesn't know him that well either, but when he finds a de-aged Kon, Clark doesn't hesitate to bring him home. The rest of the Kent family is thrilled to have someone else join them for the holidays. Clark just isn't sure how Kon is going to feel about that when he's back to normal.

“I’ve…seen you around campus and it’s good to finally meet you. Like, properly.” He fumbled over the words, his tongue feeling thick and heavy and entirely too big for his mouth. Whether it was from the weed or the nerves from Ilya's presence, Shane couldn't tell.
“I’ve seen you, too.” Ilya grabbed the cigarette from behind his ear, bringing it to his mouth before lighting it.
“Really?” He watched as Ilya took a long inhale from the cigarette. Shane wanted to say something in that moment, something about how mixing alcohol, weed, and nicotine was probably a bad idea, but the words died in his throat as Ilya blew out smoke from the corner of his mouth and grinned at him. He looked so fucking good.
“Da, Shane Hollander.” Shane fought back a shiver as his name fell from Ilya’s lips. He loved how Ilya’s voice had wrapped around the vowels, long drawn out and quiet. He wanted to hear it again and again.
