“Oh my god!” Soap’s mother exclaimed. “John, get over here, look at what's on the news!” She was loud enough that Ghost could hear through the phone.
“Soap,” Ghost cut in, trying to divert his attention, “Soap, stop. Stay where you are, don’t look.”
He ignored him, glancing at the TV to see that a news station was showing footage of a plaza outside of an important facility. Right in the middle of the square, strapped down to an old statue, was enough explosives to level the surrounding 10 blocks, at the very least.
Worse, though, so much worse, was a tall, well built man in all black military gear, hood pulled up and gloves covering his hands. Standing directly in front of the explosives.

Home on leave, Soap has to instruct Ghost on how to disarm a bomb over the phone. The pair make a good team - but not every mission can end well.
Ghost has dug himself out of his grave once already. Can he do it again?

Ghost couldn't believe that three weeks had passed since he’d been taken captive.
Look, I have two weeks left…and I'm tired of hearing the dial tone after you don't pick up. If you can't be bothered to answer my calls or even send a text then… then I think we might need to have a talk when I come back.
Simon’s heart caught in his throat. What did he mean by- Oh. This was it. Johnny wanted to cut things off.

Soap is on leave when Ghost unknowingly goes MIA. After not hearing from him, Soap leaves Ghost a voicemail, insinuating that he wants to break up.
