In the mountains of Asgard, the cold was where Loki went to be still. At the Avengers' estate, the cold is apparently where he goes to be "inspired." When Tony blasts a certain power ballad through the external speakers, Loki stops being a snow angel and starts being a problem. Or: A domestic look at the Avengers bickering over Loki's health while he builds a masterpiece in the backyard just to flex on them.
