Summary
Atsumu and Sakusa had a weird relationship. Despite being a body piercer, Sakusa hated germs and the general public and being touched. He never had any solid, long lasting relationships thanks to that fact. And yet, a certain blond haired volleyball star was somehow an exception to that rule one minute and his worst enemy the next.
They weren't dating and sometimes even the title of friends seemed generous.. but there had been more than one occasion where they had woken up naked in the same bed with pounding headaches, no memories of the night before and a silent agreement to simply not talk about it.
If Atsumu was on fire though, Sakusa would drink the last cup of water just to spite him.. but he was always the first person to pull him out of an uncomfortable encounter. Always the first to say yes to his weird favors. Always the first to pick up if he called him crying at 1 in the morning, even if it was about something stupid. And Atsumu would always do the same for him.

Sitting up straighter, Atsumu wets his lips with a quick swipe of his tongue, head falling to rest propped up by his hand. "You'll have ta forgive me and my manners." He smiles and lightly shoves at the chair opposite him with his foot, gesturing towards it with his other hand. "Name's Atsumu. It's a pleasure to finally meet ya."
"Kiyoomi." Kiyoomi sits down in the chair across from Atsumu and studies his face.
—even so, Atsumu wonders what the hell is wrong with himself and how he's going to explain his way out of this one.
Or, Atsumu lies about being Kiyoomi's blind date but it all works out in the end.

Summary
"You fucking suck," Sakusa tells him, then shakes his head. He completely gives up using the wine glass and sips straight from the bottle instead. "Have we talked about frogs tonight? Or ferrets? Lets talk about them, please."
"I wish I were an owl so I could lay eggs," Bokuto tells Inunaki next to him.
"I thought I was talking about fun frog facts," Sakusa cuts in, comically put out.
"Oh. Sorry. Continue."
Atsumu watches Sakusa continue his tangent on frogs. He learns a lot of things while listening to Sakusa's smooth voice, hands gesturing aimlessly as he explains. Frogs are diverse, tailless amphibians, with permeable skin that allows them to breathe and "drink" water directly through their bodies. They are carnivores with teeth, capable of jumping over 20 times their height and using their eyes to help swallow food. As of tonight, Miya Atsumu might be hopelessly more than in-like with Sakusa Kiyoomi. Ah, fuck.
A text from Ushijima on Sakusa's phone leads Atsumu into believing they're dating. Obviously, the only option now is to spend all his time with Sakusa until he realizes that Atsumu's the better option.Bookmarked by Kaylele
