At the end of the week, my boys will have you moved into your new place. At that time you’ll be taken to a lot to pick out a car. You will work on it to make sure it will pass your standards and get the wins you were getting in Florida. Lose and we may just take the leg from you anyway.”

    “F- f- fine.” Buck stuttered, trying to keep his heart from feeling like it was going to beat out of his chest. “Fine, ju- just leave Maddie ou- out of it.”

    Buck is picked up while out for what was supposed to be a routine grocery trip. Turns out Doug borrowed money from a loan shark to get close to Maddie, only they obviously weren't paid back when the guy died. So now Buck had to pay it back or they would go after Maddie. His sister had already been hurt by Doug for years. He wasn't letting him hurt her now that he was dead.
