It was coming from a young red-headed woman with striking green eyes too ethereal to be entirely human. Aro waited until she was alone when he struck.
He wasn't assaulted with the girl's memories or emotions upon contact - he drank unable to get enough.

Her passions in her past life that she never got to explore as much as she wished are why she is the way she is now. She was 28 when she died and had been a Rattie in her teen years. But none of that matters in her life as Ariana Swan.
