Then, Marlow is pushing Shane into the boards with some force and capturing the puck himself. Which is… great, but Shane looks a little dazed. The angle had been just slightly awkward, and Ilya clenches his teeth at the thought of how bad that could have been.
Nevermind that, he thinks, giving Hollander a once over with his eyes to ensure there's no real damage, he has a game to win.

Ten minutes passed, and Ilya, who normally could drift off easily, only felt more and more wired. He definitely didn't want sex while the other person was feeling bad. The thought made him nauseous. Ilya gnawed on his lip and decided to toe a line they haven't crossed yet. Ironically, this was one that usually came way before every other line they've already crossed. He picked back up his phone.

Jane: Yeah? And?
Lily: Does it matter if you are sleeping in your room, or in mine?
