Summary
After noticing that Omega Kageyama has it bad for Alpha Hinata, pining Omega Sakusa offers a solution: They can make their Alphas jealous by fake dating each other.
“For fuck’s sake, Kageyama.” Sakusa shook his head, his eyes still on Hinata. “I don’t want your Alpha.”
“He’s not mine.”
“Do you want him to be?”
The question hung in the air like a spike about to end the match. A second passed, an eternity in frozen time.
“Yes.”
Tobio was surprised at the syllable that came from his lips, a whispered secret he’d kept even from himself.
“There’s a way to make it happen.” Sakusa finally turned in his direction. His pupils were dilated, and Tobio could smell a hint of fresh rain, and something herbal beneath that. Rosemary? Sage? He inhaled deeply, trying to figure it out the source of the aroma. Sakusa shivered. “Please… stop scenting me.”

Until Kageyama calls it off.
“He wants to be exclusive.” Kageyama shrugged. “I’ve never tried it. Maybe it’ll work.”
Shouyou was running out of time.
He needed to tell Kageyama exactly how he felt. Exactly why it wouldn’t work with whoever this guy was, because he loved Kageyama, knew him better than anyone could possibly know him. How nobody, literally nobody, was made for him the way Shouyou was.
Shouyou’s eyes misted and he blinked before he made a fool of himself. He wasn’t going to cry, damnit. Not over a boy, and especially not over this boy. “Okay. Fine.”
“See you next year,” Kageyama grunted.
As soon as the door closed, Shouyou didn’t hold back his tears.

Atsumu has known Kiyoomi for years.
He's been dating him for two months.

He decides to ask the fellow members of the JNT for their stories so he can figure it out.
They’d been friends and teammates for six years already. But dating was different. The quiet moments they shared when no one else was around. The way Kiyoomi smiled when it was just for him. The way his lashes fluttered as their lips touched. The way his eyes rolled back in his head when Atsumu was inside him. The way he softly snored as he drifted off to sleep.
Atsumu loved all of it. Everything Kiyoomi brought to the relationship. All the inside jokes and warm hugs and silly texts.
But did he truly love Kiyoomi? Or did he love being in a healthy relationship for once in his life?
