Summary
What if Marta and Fina had a chance to use the little apartment in Madrid to explore the city and each other?
Picking up after Fina blows kisses to Marta in the stockroom before they head to Madrid. It's romantic and sexy with a little angst and a lot of love. Touches of historical fiction, focusing on queer Spanish history, are woven into the story (details and context in notes starting with ch 4).
Perspective kinda shifts between Marta and Fina and ch.1 is really an intro to jump off of canon so give it to at least 2 (or better yet 3) to get going.

Summary
Mel Medarda has spent her whole career chasing gold in the 100m freestyle. At the Summer Olympics in Ionia, she wins gold for Noxus and breaks the Olympic record. Sevika wins gold for Zaun as their water polo enforcer.
They meet at the athletes’ afterparty after the closing ceremony. Mel is used to people admiring the athlete first and the woman second. Sevika doesn’t make that mistake.
