Please just stop fighting yourself,” he said, the smallest twinge of desperation causing his voice to shake.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” he repeated, still weakly trying to pull out of Liam’s hold.

Until he got his diagnosis, Arthur was entirely unaware that feeling this way wasn’t normal. He’s always been in constant pain; a dull ache in his bones, an all too familiar sensation. Working out was always difficult for him, he got exhausted easily and his heart would race anytime he did something too fast. But he pushed through it, because he thought everyone felt that way.
