it’s messy, and he bleeds more often than he should, losing a shit ton of blood. but the progress is there, and with robin’s crappy mending skills it’s honestly a wonder. a lot more than he could’ve hoped for. despite everything, despite ramy talking to him on every occasion he is able to, despite ramy desperately trying to joke – and the jokes aren’t even that bad, better than one could’ve expected from a half-conscious person soaked in blood – robin is still a panicking mess.

Silver hair would fit Ramy, Robin was sure of it. Getting to see his face grow old and wrinkled sounded wonderful, too, as did going on vacation and tending to their shared garden in the back of their house.
But also he wanted the sense of closeness, the feeling of their souls merging together while still remaining visible each on its own. He wanted to grow closer to Ramy, to support him through thick and thin, while enjoying the support that Ramy himself offered, always with an unwavering sense of protection. He never made Robin feel like his problems didn’t matter, which was a part of why these problems got solved.
