Illuga sat up, and he gasped for his breath, desperately grasping air for his lungs. He unconsciously squeezed his neck. His bulging eyes looked at every corner in the room, hoping to find a sense of relief. But the piercing ring in his ears proved that his search was unsuccessful.
As the ringing in his ears became louder, his exhale began to be accompanied by a river of tears. Illuga's hands traveled from his neck to his drumming heart in an attempt to calm the organ down.

The bathwater's coldness mirrored the night's temperature, but strangely enough, Varka felt warm in the tub. The color of the red roses was similar to the warm glow that he was feeling. Perhaps it was Wriothesley's body heat that warmed him as the man embraced him from behind. Maybe it was his natural body heat. Who knows. Varka didn't need to know everything. At that moment, the only thing that he needed to know was that he was at peace.
"Come on, say it again." Varka mustered up his best puppy dog eyes. Wriothesley blushed as he looked away. "Come on, she really likes it when you say it," Varka rubbed his pregnant belly.

Itto is lonely. Nobody seems to want to rip off the mask that is the idiot who acts happy all the time and he is doomed to cling onto people for any sliver of attention.
This is the tale of how two people meet and learn to love themselves, each other and the people around them.
Alternatively, this fic is a total retelling of the Inazuma storyline and other relevant story quests with original scenes while making it AyaItto.
