Summary
Discovered by the High King, Jude must strike a deal with Cardan in exchange for her life. Now bound to him, she must keep herself together as the hate she feels for him fights against her true feelings. This is an alternative storyline to The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black. Picks up right when Cardan takes Jude to his chambers after she takes Taryn's place at the trial. It is a different version of the story with more Jurdan time (and more spice).

This is a slow burn, despite the fact that I speed run fan fictions for the smut haha. The story takes place after the events of book two — Apprentice to the Villain. Rather than advancing the main plot, this work focuses on building some cute (eventually hopefully hot) scenes between our beloved characters because my brain is rotting away waiting for the third book!!
