Summary
Coming back to Konoha doesn’t mean coming home. Not when everyone has moved on without you, not when the people you should have grown up beside feel like strangers connected by memories and moments you were never part of.
After years away from the village, Sasuke realizes he doesn’t know how to live in peace, how to stay… or how to exist in a place that kept moving forward without him.
Convinced he no longer belongs anywhere after everything he’s done, he isolates himself once again, watching other people’s happiness from a distance like he always has.
But Naruto still keeps searching for him, even now. Patient. Tireless. As if he still believes Sasuke deserves a place by his side.

Summary
Naruto shifted, tilting his head back to scrub at his chest and neck, his dusky pink nipples on display, erect. Water dripped down his chest, little droplets falling into the crevices of his abs, and Sasuke so badly wanted to chase them with his tongue. He wanted to see what was below the water. He wanted to taste.
Sasuke needed him. Sasuke needed him like he needed breathing. It had never been that intense before. That sudden. That rapid.
There was another wave of light-headedness.
Finally given a mission together after eight months apart, Sasuke and Naruto take a pit stop at a hot spring; the steam really gets to Sasuke's brain.

But the mission runs too long, the storm traps him in a cave with his very last suppressant already gone - and worst of all, with Sasuke, the very last person he should ever be trapped with.All the desire they buried under friendship, rivalry, obsession - literally anything but the truth - is forced into the light by a biology neither of them can outrun.
(SasuNaru • very angsty • very smutty (incl. misuse of snakes & dubious consent) • forced proximity, rebound & unplanned heat & alpha rut and basically sasuke being crazy possessive and obsessive, & it's not just the curse mark, lol)
