“This next bit is important,” Aziraphale said, reaching up and resting a gentle fingertip against Crowley’s sunglasses. “I would like to look into your eyes while I say it. May I?”
Crowley gave a shrug and made a noise that wandered somewhere in the direction of noncommittal.
“No is a perfectly acceptable answer,” Aziraphale said gently, pulling his hand back and still looking so keenly happy, like maybe Crowley was the thing he liked looking at most in the entire world.
Or maybe that was just what Crowley hoped for because that’s how he felt when he looked at Aziraphale. “Yes,” he said gruffly, because he didn’t have to hide anymore, and the angel deserved to see him sometimes.

Summary
Aziraphale decides to track Crowley down, several months after they parted ways. When the reunion doesn’t go as planned and the demon is unwilling to change his mind, an accidental slip of archangel powers causes alternate versions of Crowley from the past to spring into existence.
Now, despite the gulf between them, they have to work together to figure out how to undo what was done and hopefully prevent Crowley from losing more than he already has.
