Summary
“Aren’t you the one in this marriage that’s supposed to be injury prone?” Eddie grumbled, his voice tinged with tiredness. Buck’s eyes went wide as the group around them looked at the couple with looks of shock on their faces. “Marriage?” Athena asked, an eyebrow raising in the process. “Shhh, you can’t tell anyone at the 118 that Buck and I got married. It’s a surprise!” Eddie said, humming contently, not realizing who he was speaking to due to the pain medicine still in his system.
OR: After the bridge collapse, Eddie accidentally reveals the fact he and Buck had gotten married without telling anyone in the 118 family.

Summary
Buck wasn’t sure how long they sat there once he calmed down. He wasn’t sure how long the whole ordeal had lasted all together either. Whilst everything in his mind moved fast for all he would've known time did the opposite. Eddie at one point had gotten them both a glass of water, Buck tried to stop him, tried to offer himself to do it but Eddie didn’t give him the chance. Eddie said a few words after he talked Buck through it, he just sat down next to him and allowed Buck to find his words in his own time. Buck was grateful, the silence was calming compared to the noise he dealt with earlier. He felt tired, the emotions had washed over him so quickly, like a wave, and when the wave retreated it dragged all his energy away with him. But he came here for a reason and at some point things had to be addressed.

“Cap,” Eddie started, leaning towards Bobby. “I don’t like the way those guys are looking at Buck.” Eddie nodded at the group of men ogling his best friend from under the medical tent.
Bobby followed Eddie’s line of sight, spotting the men immediately. They weren’t exactly being subtle in their leering at his firefighter.
“No,” Bobby kept his tone hushed, keeping their conversation from wandering ears, “I don’t either.”
