Home is also far away from Tulsa, and he is glad for it.
But when his past pulls him back without warning, he’s forced to face everything he thought he’d left behind. Everyone he left behind. Even worse, theres a killer on the loose and no one can seem to figure out who it is or who’s next.

There’s some huff of air and Darry grumbles loudly ‘cause he was trying to keep his voice down — the house ain’t that big, and Ponyboy doesn’t need to hear all this. He slams the phone back down onto the receiver with a loud clatter of plastic and metal as he mutters something about, “bullshit doctors, God, bet he ain’t even got no real degree, just a bunch’a nothin’,” before slumping against the counter again, chest heaving in eventual silence.
