Summary
Returning to Hogwarts for her eighth and final year sans Harry and Ron was not something Hermione thought she'd be doing. Ready to take on the role of the only school Head, Hermione is surprised and shocked when Headmistress McGonagall appoints one Draco Malfoy as her partner - and fellow occupant of the Head dormitories. Even more unexpected is her attraction to him and the fact that even though she thinks he feels the same, he pushes her away at every turn.

He stood abruptly. "Go ahead, Granger. Run your mouth. It still won't change a thing. McGonagall wants to help me, you want to help me," he was inches away from her face. Not yelling, no. Instead, his whisper was like a hiss that sent goosebumps all over her body. "Don't you see that there is nothing I can change? I am who I am and there's nothing you can do, but I'm stuck with you anyway," he stormed back to his room, flicking his wrist through the air and sending things flying through the room.

Summary
35 days.
If anyone had asked Hermione before the war, she would've said a month in Malfoy Manor wouldn't be able to break her.
She hadn't been wrong many times in her life, but, well; you win some, you lose some. Granted, it would have been nice to lose something much more trivial than magical stability, but it was collateral damage at this point, all things considered.
Why had she returned to this godforsaken castle again?
Oh right. It was either gossiping students or tabloid-leaking medi-wizards, so. Lesser of two evils.
Merlin she needed to get her magic back. Soon.

What the point in sending an 18 year old to complete his education when his potential Azkaban sentence surpassed that of his lifespan was, Draco would never understand.
He had tried to protest it, but when the Minister said it was either probation in Hogwarts or early detainment, he all but apparated to Flourish and Blotts to get his mandatories.
Those now-chronically-hazy eyes of Granger's made him regret not agreeing to rot in that Azkaban cell earlier, though.
Why was she still fully Occluded?

Summary
After learning the truth about Bella, the Cullens, and the supernatural world, Charlie Swan finds himself unable to go back to normal life. Forks feels smaller now, quieter but not peaceful. He’s restless, haunted by the burden of what he’s not supposed to know.
Carlisle Cullen, on the other hand, feels the weight of what he’s asked Charlie to carry. He checks in out of guilt at first, to make sure Charlie is coping, but those visits turn into shared coffee on the porch, quiet fishing trips, and long talks that neither of them meant to start.
