Summary
People don't really touch Jonathan Sims unless they want to hurt him. That's mostly fine. Jon has never been a tactile person, and he doesn't need anyone but himself.
Except the world is falling down around him, and loneliness aches, and sometimes he'll take anything - even cruelty - just to feel human again.
*A story set between s1 and s4, looking at Jon's relationship with touch, friendship, and his own humanity.

Summary
His commitment to the Knights aside, Utowin was hardly taken, but even so he wouldn’t call himself available.
As for the reason behind that…
The reason had skin like parchment, hair like pitch, and eyes like pain. The reason had to be coaxed into eating and bathing and sleeping. The reason’s name was Easthies.Or, the one where Utowin agrees to something unexpected and suffers for it (until he doesn't).

Summary
“Holy shit,” Diego says, shell-shocked and faint.
Ben frowns, nudges him forward a bit, watches Klaus pour tea into a chipped mug that used to Five’s favorite. Then Allison gasps, and Ben’s attention is pulled to the table where--where, holy fuck, Five is sitting. He’s wrapped up in Vanya’s pale blue comforter, hunched in on himself, shivering. He’s clearly older than Ben remembers, but his eyes are exhausted, reflecting trauma and horror beyond his seventeen years. His hair hangs in his face, curling at the ends. He offers a strained half-smile, says, “Hey, guys.”

Summary
It’s the middle of the night (if his calculations are correct, which they very well may not be, but hey, at least it’s dark out), but the lights are on. One in the foyer, a few peaking through the tiny kitchen windows, one in Vanya’s room and--
And one in his room.
Holy shit, Five thinks. I did it. I’m home.

Five spends four years in the apocalypse before he manages to make it home. Luckily, there are people who have spent every night since he left waiting for him to come back.
