Summary
The night that Fizzarolli died, there were no explosions, no fireworks or flashing lights, no dramatic scenes that would later be re-enacted for the stage or screen. Blitzø wasn’t able to put his finger on it but the eerily silent way that Fizz died would be one of the reasons he struggled with his friend’s death for so long after. If Fizz had gone out in a tragic stage accident, trampled by mis-timed go-go dancers or a falling piano, the news of his friend’s death wouldn’t have sounded so fucking bizarre. Hell! Blitzø would’ve believed that Fizz died in a comical kitchen accident. But to know, or maybe-know-but-struggle-to-believe, that the one-and-only-Fizzarolli died silently in his sleep, well Blitzø thought this was the bullshitiest bullshit the universe had ever shit out.

The book of their friendship never closed, and now Stolas and Blitzo have picked it right back up where they left off.
A reimagining of the story of Stolas and Blitzo; in which the fire never took the life of Tilla Buckzo, never took Fizzarolli’s limbs and horns, and never took Blitzo’s ability to love himself.
