Summary
As if Solstice dinners weren't awkward enough to begin with, this is the first year Hades is bringing his partners home to his parents. They've met before, of course - many times in fact, given that his lovers are his best friends and have been since they were all children. But he never expected his parents to behave so poorly to them now that he has finally managed to take the next step and decide to spend the rest of his life with his best friends, formally. Luckily, it will take a lot more than rude parents to keep Hythlodaeus and Azem away.

Summary
Once each year, every soul on the star is given the day off work to prepare a grand feast, then go to the edges of their home city and expel almost all their aether; then return home and feast to replenish that aether. This is the holiday known as Ananeóno.
Hythlodaeus may be Chief of the Bureau of the Architect - hardly a position to turn one's nose up at - but he has always dreaded Ananeóno. This is because the holiday is fraught with opportunities for uncharitable commentary of all flavors: too little aether, too much aether, simply haven't seen your family in a while and overdue for this year's lecture about how your parents wish you had taken another job or found a partner by now? Ananeóno is the holiday for those unpleasant conversations. Which is precisely why the three of them - Azem, Emet-Selch, and Hythlodaeus - always celebrate this holiday together.

Summary
Hythlodaeus told him that he would not stop working until all the paperwork was completed and could be sent back down to Etheirys. How important it was for the well-being of their little guests. Themis' own mouth turns into a frown. Laboring so over this paperwork is not good for the well-being of his Daeus.
"I need something from you," Themis hums, wandering over to Hythlodaeus' side, and not stopping until his knees brush up against the side of his Daeus' thigh.
"Ah, of course..." Hythlodaeus frowns, pausing in his work to look up at Themis with a confused furrow in his brow. "Will it be quick? I really need to finish these soon..."
"No," Themis smirks, and swings a leg over Hythlodaeus' thighs, releasing his face to hike up his own fluffy robes, then plop down into his lap. "I'm afraid it won't be quick."

Summary
“What can I do for you, handsome?” She asks. The man won’t meet her eyes. She smirks.
“W-We… were wondering if… you would… be amenable to… a d-demonstration?”
“We?” she echoes, leaning to the side to see the tent flaps past the blue hrothgar’s bulk. Lo and behold, the tent flaps are held partially open by no less than four different colored hands… and she thinks she spies at least two pairs of eyes reflecting the dim lantern light from her tent back at her. An easy smile curls her lips, and she beckons to the hands and eyes, taking several steps back to where her cot lies waiting for her. “Of course, of course! Come in, please. I’d be more than happy to give you fine soldiers a thorough demonstration of my particular talents.”

Summary
"Klotho...?" Horme's voice comes from her chest, muffled by her skin and their hair.
"Mmn, yes, my lily pad?" Klotho asks, giving their scalp another scritch for good measure, even as she blows a wayward curl away from her face, then tucks more of Horme's hair beneath her chin. "What is it?"
"Why... don't more people just... say what they mean?" Horme mumbles against her skin. That same skin begins to move beneath their lips as Klotho chuckles.
"Tackling the deepest mysteries of the star today, are we, lily pad?" Klotho smiles, leaning in to press a kiss against Horme's scalp, then spitting out the mouthful of golden curls she got for her trouble. A calloused hand pats gently at Horme's bare flank, and they scoot back from Klotho's chest, giving her room to move, recognizing the cue from their sexual activities. "We're going to need fuel for the mind for that one, love. Come on; let's make some breakfast."
