Summary

Charles takes a deep breath. “I want a tattoo.”
Max raises an eyebrow slowly. His gaze drops to Charles’s arm, his unspoken question clear. The look isn’t exactly skeptical—but it’s some version of wry doubt.
“I want another tattoo,” Charles corrects, adding, “Not one like that. Something more elaborate. Unique. More… more me.”
OR: Charles has been trying to find himself again. In the midst of this he decides that a tattoo fits the moment.
