In this story, Shane and Ilya are not hockey players. Shane is an American scientist, while Ilya is a Soviet pianist. In 1948, during the Cold War, Shane reunites in the U.S. with Ilya, who is visiting as part of a Soviet artistic delegation. This is their first meeting since they separated in Berlin ten years prior. It is a story of two individuals in love, caught in the heated rivalry between their two nations. Neither of them free. -

Summary
Anakin and Obi-Wan are sent on a secret mission to assassinate a high-ranking official of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Anakin believes the mission is an act of justice to resist tyranny and defend the Republic. But as the mission is carried out, he's not so sure.
This story is loosely based on a true story during World War II, Operation Anthropoid. Czechoslovakian resistance operatives, with the assistance of the British, carried out the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, who was a high-ranking German SS and police official during the Nazi era. After reading that story, I felt it was very dark and well-suited for turning Anakin into a darker character, so I put it in Star Wars universe.
安纳金和欧比旺被派去执行一个刺杀独立星系联邦高官的秘密任务。安纳金相信这次任务是反抗暴政，保卫共和国的正义之举。但是随着任务的进行，他不是那么确定了。
这个故事大致是参照二战时候的一个真实事件写的，捷克在英国的帮助下刺杀纳粹的第三把手莱因哈德·海德里希。看了那个故事后我觉得实在是太阴暗了，非常适合让安纳金黑化，所以写了这个故事。

绝地率先打破了沉默，明明眼角蕴着笑意，声音却凉飕飕地飘过来：
“听说你在外面到处跟人说我俩睡了？”
“……”Din缓缓地把后脑勺重新贴回地面，目光空洞地望向头顶那片摇曳的树影。
他觉得自己还能再多晕一会儿。

Anakin is desperate for Obi-Wan's affection, but the more desperate he becomes the less of Obi-Wan he gets. But, Anakin thinks he knows a way to worm into his Master's heart.
Obi-Wan is a mess, no matter how much space he tries to give his Padawan he fears his attachment is already bigger than ever. He's not able to say no to Anakin, especially when he offers something that Obi-Wan craves.

After leaving Vader a second time, Obi-Wan is given, and takes, the chance to travel to the past to fix his mistakes. He hopes it will be easy. It's not. As the galaxy around him spirals out of control a second time, Obi-Wan captures a newly Fallen Darth Vader and runs away with him. Even if he can't save Anakin, at least he can stop Vader from terrorizing the galaxy again.
