Summary
Kali needed a fresh start away from her painful memories and her now-deceased Grandpa's farm seemed like the best place to escape too. She's eager to remain isolated from others, too afraid to open up after what happened in the past, however, a particular blonde isn't going to make it easy for her.
Kinda winging this as I go but oh well. This is supposed to be a slow burn but who knows if I'll have the patience to follow through with that haha. Also using this as a way to improve my writing skills so don't expect anything Shakespeare-level, though I suppose no one really is.

A little retelling of the House of Grief mission where Shadowheart stumbles across her old lover who seems very intent on killing her.
Recently started a new playthrough and Shadowheart's little line in Act 1 where she scoffs at the thought of having a lover waiting for her back in Baldurs Gate which inspired me to create whatever this story turns out to be.

Summary

However, an incident involving some tentacles and mindflayers means Alana is thrust into a new setting with a group suffering all in their own ways. She is desperate to help them, neglecting her own needs and it isn't until a kind wizard opens up to her that she realises her past wasn't as 'perfect' as she believed.

Summary

That’s a good thing, though. If no one else knows, and Korra doesn’t think about it, then maybe it’ll be like it never happened at all.
