Summary

She tells herself that growing up is essential for survival because she must be strong both mentally and physically in a world where walkers can bite at any moment. This deepens her connection with Daryl Dixon, and Beth begins to see him less as Judith's uncle/adoptive father figure, a role Rick do not fulfill all times, and more as a man.

Diciéndose a si misma que madurar era sobrevivir porque debía ser fuerte mental y físicamente en un mundo donde los caminantes podían morderte en cualquier momento. Por ello su unión con Daryl Dixon se vuelve más cercana, más profunda, en la que Beth comienza a verlo menos como el tito/padre adoptivo de Judith, cuando Rick no puede cumplir ese papel, y comienza a verlo más como un hombre.

When Beth narrowly escapes being kidnapped by two men in a car, Daryl thinks they're running towards safety as they flee the funeral home. But he quickly realizes that he's led them straight into the arms of a whole new threat.
These depraved men don't want supplies or shelter. They want something even more precious than blood. And Beth and Daryl have no choice but to give it to them.
He never wanted it to be like this.
