There's nothing Chuuya can do but wait. Wait and wait and wait, staring at the unidentifiable stains on the wall of this underground clinic far from home. Wait for Dazai's rotten immune system to react to the antibiotics.
Dazai's chest goes up and down, and that timid movement is all that keeps Chuuya's last thread of sanity intact.

Summary
"But Kugisaki," Itadori continues. Megumi leans back, protecting the popcorn as Itadori tries to flick Kugisaki's shoulder. "You talk like you don't do the same."
"Me? I'm a steel wall! It's not just anything that'll make me cry."
"Uh-huh," Itadori says. She throws a cushion at him that almost collides with Megumi. Itadori catches it with a grin before nudging Megumi with his elbow. "What about you, Fushiguro? You don't seem the crying type."
"Definitely not," Kugisaki says, and her daemon makes a sound in agreement.
"I do get sad depending on the movie," Megumi says, pushing Itadori's arm away. "But I don't make it a habit to seek melancholy movies."
Anfang hoots in agreement, flapping her wings. "He prefers books," she adds. She seems way keener on engaging in conversation with others and oversharing recently. Megumi's- not sure what to make of it.
Both Kugisaki and Itadori gasp, overdramatic looks of horror on their faces.
Or, it's no secret that Daemons are bad at lying and hiding what they feel. Megumi finds out he might not mind that vulnerability so much when he's around his new classmates at Jujutsu Tech.

"We wanted to make you feel welcomed," Midoriya says quickly. "I mean, you already live here, so not in the sense that we're welcoming you into the dorms, but more like letting you know that we're all in this together. Kinda like coming back to a nice, cozy home, if that makes sense."
Shouto stops, fork midway to his mouth. He blinks, then looks around the room again, at his classmates chattering softly or watching the documentary. When he turns his attention back to Midoriya, he's watching Shouto with a softness in his expression.
Something slots into place, unraveling a knot inside his chest, slow and gentle.
"Yeah," Shouto says, voice soft like a breath. "It does."
(Later, he'll stop and think that if the dorms are his home, then what happens after he graduates and leaves them forever?)
Or, Shouto's journey through figuring out what home means for him.

Summary
Before either of them can say anything else, Midoriya jolts. His eyes snap to the side one second before the sound of distant voices reaches Shouto’s ears. It must be the people with the next shift, covering the perimeter like Shouto should’ve been doing.
They work in pairs during the night patrol because firebenders are weaker without sunlight. Shouto’s waterbending has him exempt from that and makes for a big advantage. If he decides to confront the soldiers coming, he knows he can take them, but not without the cost of making a commotion. His waterbending isn’t subtle.
“You can’t stay here,” Shouto says. “You need to go.”
Midoriya nods. Then he does the strangest thing: he offers a hand to Shouto.
“Come with me,” Midoriya offers. “I can help you get out of here.”
(In a world where only the Avatar bends more than one element, Shouto thought he was alone. He was wrong.)

Summary
After years of circling each other, the Silverwood was burned out, and everything else remained.
So when Olruggio kindly asked if they could be something more, Qifrey accepting was only natural. For him, it was everything else that was hard: the trauma of the Silverwood, the years of lost experiences, the new scars and the old ones. He never expected to get that far. But when he said he would take back what was stolen from him, he meant all of it—Olruggio included.
Or: the three seasons it took to untangle it all.

Summary
He has no doubt that if there were a witch who could cure him, it would be Coco. The kindest, brightest witch of her generation. And if only they had more time, maybe Qifrey could be saved by that brilliance, like so many others have been. Like he knows so many more will be.
But he’s always had rotten luck, hasn’t he?
Qifrey runs out of time after the girls' third test. Coco and Olruggio aren't going to sit idle about it.
