Summary
He was laying on the floor of a shrine, open and airy, overlooking the bustling modern city below them. Tamamo no Mae, one of the Three Terrible Yōkai and a being who would have surpassed all deities if he didn’t despise them more than anything else, was looking down at him, tapping his lip with his fan. Around them, he realised, was a cloud of white fur softly fading into inky blue. While Tamamo no Mae usually kept his tails semi-corporeal, for some reason he had chosen the luxury of his fur to be fully on display today.
He would never complain about that choice with how warm the fur was.

Summary
Hundreds of years have passed since Ichimokuren sacrificed his eye and consequently his power. A small spirit and a wind dragon were his only daily companions, since the entire village believed that there was no longer a protective god on the top of Mount Septem.
His routine was occasionally surprised by the visit of an emissary from Takamagahara, an entity that made him bow in absolute respect. For a long time he admired Susabi for being so strong and imposing, unlike himself, whose existence was dissipating. However, over time he noticed that there was much more than simple admiration, and then he started to keep this feeling much more under a single lock and key.
