Time sighs. "The last one."

It’s said matter-of-factly, not overconfidently, and Time hates that Wild knows that it’s not his first, second or even third reset.
And to think all Time's current problems would be solved if Wild just got out of his way.
A.K.A. Unstoppable force meets immovable object.
Or the Sans boss fight but the only stake is Time's sanity. And maybe his life. But mostly his sanity. -

Summary
In the aftermath of a memory, Wild fails to take care of himself, fills an inn's entire kitchen with baked goods, passes out on the floor, and decides halfway through asking an important question not to ask it after all.
Time deals with all this, and fails to push for answers at the right time, and has no more idea what's wrong at the end of it all than he did at the start.
Things turn out okay, anyway.

When Link comes across an odd mass of darkness swirling in the middle of the Great Sea, of course he has has to investigate! Such a strange new sight needs sussing out, and Link is willing to use every puzzle-solving tool he has at his disposal to do so- up to and including a certain little pear.
He probably shouldn't have pulled out the pear.

The shop settles again. Outside, the sky’s gone black. Summer's coming. Seagulls wheel past like giddy children, and you can hear the static of the sea.
“Hey,” Techno says eventually, quietly, pausing to look at Wil. “Take out the bins, would you?”
Wilbur groans, pushing off the counter. “Why me?”“Bruh. Because I’m doin' everything else?”
Wilbur drags himself to the back door, feet thumping against the still wet, still sticky tiles. As he passes, he bumps his shoulder against Techno’s again. (Techno will miss this)
“I’ll have you know, Techno,” he says, hauling the bin out with a grunt. “I do most the work around here. You’d be absolutely useless without me.”
And he grins, as if it’s just a joke. Like it’s just another line, just another part of the twin thing they have.Then he’s gone out the back, and the doors swing shut behind him.
