    Keith snorts, but most of his attention is still dedicated to the juice pouch in his hands that he’s attempting to jab the straw into. “In your dreams, sweetheart.”
    He realizes one second too late. Lance has gone very still beside him, and the entire room has fallen completely silent, and that’s when his heart stops and his blood turns to ice. He drops his juice and slaps his hands over his mouth, turning to stare at Lance in absolute and utter horror.
    Lance’s eyes are wide, but he doesn’t look upset like Keith thought he might. Instead he’s got this wondrous sort of expression on his face, and a slowly growing smile that makes Keith’s cheeks start to burn in more ways than one.
