The promised “psych” fic! The war has ended, or rather is in the process of ending. Optimus and Megatron sneak off to a lower deck every once and a while to meet up. All is well and good until they witness a murder. Revealing their presence in the cordoned-off construction area would risk them being removed from negotiations, which would very likely lead to the disintegration of the peace process. In a panic, Optimus reveals the perpetrator and claims the Matrix bestowed the answer to him. Now he’s stuck with several suspicious subordinates, a strained relationship with Megatron, and a council of mechs who think an omniscient Primus can bestow him with critical information. And a security mech was just murdered in the energon depot.
