Belonging to Ryan, Mary thinks, is enough of an insult on its own, but now it seems the entire school thinks that she’s fair game. At least if she belonged to Yumeko, she might have a chance at some protection, but no one respects Ryan, which means no one respects Mary enough to leave her alone- not that anyone cares.
Riri sees the way Mary’s being treated, and it makes her blood boil. So, she finds a solution. Except now, she has a house pet in the form of a girl that’s always elicited distracting feelings that Riri is not in the mood to examine too closely, which is fine. It’s fine. All Riri has to do is give Mary the space she needs to buy her way out of her house pet status.
Except, it can never be that easy, can it?
