Summary
Alastor likes to believe he was a sensible demon, even if that sensibility resulted in a rather ill advised deal with the Devil.
In his defense, he didn't have any other option when Charlie – dear, sweet Charlie who still thinks everyone can get along if given the right kind of push – put them on kitchen duty for the day. Claiming that working towards a shared goal was the perfect way to foster a friendship between him and her father.
Oh, how wrong she was.
