Summary
After escaping prison, Ash expects Ewron’s usual devoted attention. Instead, he finds his blade happily spending time with Funny News Guy and growing close to Funny Bikini Guy too. Jealous, Ash starts mimicking their warm, affectionate style to win Ewron back but it weirdes Ewron out.

Ewron leaned an inch too far over the side of the boat, just enough for his wet boots to lose traction on the damp wood. “Shit–”
He tried to catch himself, arms flailing for balance, before he toppled over the side and hit the water with a loud, chaotic splash.
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me,” Ash muttered. Then, without hesitation, he dove in after him, cutting through the cold, churning water.

During one of Ewron and Ash’s usual boat meetings, Ewron accidentally injures himself, leaving him bedbound under Ash’s care.

"Ash, are you completely insane?!"
The words carried anger, but something else too, an emotion that Ash couldn't quite identify. Ewroon suddenly tried to sit up, only to grimace immediately. His ears flattened against his head, his tail lashed nervously across the blankets.
"What the hell were you thinking? You can't make a decision like that on your own!"
Or, Ash is in the federation prison and Ewroon has a plan to get him out of there, but things take a wrong turn and Ash has to find a way to save his dear assassin.
