Mathias had watched Lukas for years in the Kalmar Union. Everything about him was so enchanting. He was truly beautiful; His fair blond hair, soft pale skin, quiet strength, and icy exterior that hid something magnetic. He was able to suppress his feelings back then, finding that admiration from afar was fulfilling enough. But after the Kalmar Union dissolved, intrigued by the decline of Norway, Mathias began to realise what he thought was simple infatuation had grown into obsession. Wanting the mysterious man wasn’t enough; he needed to break him.
